I fabricate the majority of my work in gold entirely by hand with no components cast. It is a lengthy process and although gold is extremely malleable it requires patience and a technical process to achieve a brilliant finish. I work tirelessly by hand with simple old school tooling. I work with bright white diamonds but I love to encourage a customer to consider a naturally coloured Australian diamond. I particularly love champagne coloured diamonds, they're gorgeous like honey and will provoke a second glance because they are unexpected.
My style is naturally bold and graphic. I assemble my jewellery manually so there is a visible reference to the construction process which has always attracted men to my work. As much as I love creating exquisitely detailed sparkle I love building the edge of a deathstar ring or milling the outer sleeve of an assemblage ring.
I don't define my designs as masculine or feminine. I can always find a common thread when designing rings for a couple even if their styles are different.
